Covid-19 update and health safety overview
The safety of our employees and customers is a priority
JC Casualwear implements the recommendations and decisions made on health safety by the CDC (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the WHO (World Health Organization) or any competent national body on the subject. We are constantly updating them to meet the requirements and recommendations issued by the CDC, whether for the protection of our employees, external stakeholders, and customers.
Safety of our employees
Within the framework of the recommendations enacted by the CDC or any competent national body or council on the Covid-19 issue, we are implementing health security measures to protect our employees and external contributors from possible contamination by the Coronavirus - Covid-19. Wearing a mask is compulsory for all employees and external contributors entering our premises, a safety distance of one meter is set up between employees and hydroalcoholic gel is made available to all employees and external contributors, a direction of circulation is set up, the number of people is halved and a spacing between them is applied in the common room for meals and breaks.
Without forgetting a compulsory temperature reading is carried out at the entrance of our premises for all persons (employees, external contributors...), a protective mask is given to each person entering our premises.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfection measures are being put in place to complement the measures put in place against the spread of Coronavirus - Covid-19.
Our contribution to the global health crisis
With Covid-19 affecting us globally; more importantly, medical and the garment/ fashion industry, we saw thousands of fashion designers and professionals in the field come forward; and in some cases, sacrificed themselves, to provide for their community’s urgent medical assistance in hospitals (medical professionals) and mass production of masks (seamstress and fashion designer professionals) to mitigate the damages of the pandemic. While retaining the idea that the virus is not yet "under control"; today in the world, we cannot ignore the fact that without those masks, we could have had more than 480 million cases and 6 million deaths, had not those vaccines been produced rapidly. The Group PCJ Marketing & Webmedia communication Company, together with its subsidiaries and business units PCJ Holding, have decided to take the lead with a major contribution for sewing and fashion professionals.
A contribution of US$25,000,000 is set up to support Fashion Designers in our e-commerce program and our Best Designer Contest:
