Consequences Of The Pandemic To Most Public Events, Including Our Fashion Competition

This global health crisis has disrupted millions of annual and once-in-a-lifetime events around the world. From college graduations to weekend hangouts and even funerals, the loss of human experience is thoughtful and raises serious psychological questions. While this pandemic hasled to severe consequences, from death to a potential economic recession, the pain caused by the loss of entertaining, customary, but nonetheless meaningful events cannot be ignored.

Many social gatherings and mass public events got canceled, some delayed, or some transformed from on-ground to virtual platforms to date to flatten the curve.

The global mega-event of Dubai Expo 2020 has been postponed for a year.

2020 was supposed to be a huge sports year. But Tokyo 2020 Olympics also got suspended and rescheduled for 2021 summers.

The fashion world has also not been spared by COVID. Fashion shows got a serious hit, but there was nothing safer than delaying the physical events to an unknown date. The autumn/winter fashion shows in Milan, London, and Paris were rescheduled with a very limited number of participants, open spaces, and held on virtual-format fashion runways as well.

One of the prestigious yearly fashion competitions, Best Designer Contest, has also been rescheduled for summer 2021, which will be held in 12 countries simultaneously. This competition would be the most needed fuel for the creative, innovative, and ethical fashion players and bring the best learning experience for the emerging talented participants.

But Every cloud has a silver lining!

The COVID vaccination represents a major milestone in fighting against the awful virus when the head of WHO is telling people “there is now real hope” that vaccines will play an essential part in helping end the COVID pandemic.

As the 2020 year-end holiday season is knocking at the door, the most awaited and exciting celebrations and carnivals will be different this year, of course. The top trending hashtagswould be restricted Christmas celebrations and new year night fiesta, people buying their favorite trends from online stores of Feminine Trends, Gentlemen Brands, Designers Boutiques, and Fashion Elegance Design, but with the latest positive news from vaccine’s effective trials, the light at the end of this gloomy, long tunnel is growing brighter.

We anticipate the colors of life coming back to normal soon when we could attend our closest one’s magnificent wedding ceremony, when we could buck up our favorite team during football league again, fashion runways will be glittering with new trends in the near future, and the magnificent Best Designer Contest will be back with all its sheen and charm soon.
